On 27 Jan 1757 when Huldah was 21, she married Lieut. Samuel Barstow (36541) , son of Dea. Samuel Barstow (22979) (7 Feb 1708/9-19 Nov 1801) & Margaret Stockbridge (25235) (19 Oct 1708-12 Apr 1788), in Hanover, MA.227 Born on 28 Jul 1734 in Hanover, MA.444 Samuel died in Hanover, MA, on 4 May 1826; he was 91. Buried in Hanover Center Cemetery.

Samuel lived in Hanover on King Street and is described as “a man of infinite hest; spory as a boym even at the age of 70 and as full of his jokes.” He was a selectman from 1765-67, in 1772, 1776 and 1777.165
