Jan was baptized in Sleepy Hollow Reformed Church, on 28 Oct 1718.157 Jan Canckly, son of Elyas and Crestena Canckly, witnesses: Jan Ecker & wife Magdaleentje [grandparents]. Jan died in Livingston, Columbia County, New York in 1796.277

Jan and Weyntie both born and lived in Philips Burgh.157

“John Concklin” was on the 1760 Philipsburg Manor rent roll.543 They resided at Philipsburgh until the 1770s when the whole family moved to Livingston, Columbia Co.277
On 17 Apr 1742 when Jan was 23, he married Wyntie Van Tassel (35764) , daughter of Cornelis Van Tassel (17144) (7 Jan 1668-) & Wyntje Herrickse Cranckheyt (18111) (ca Mar 1684-), in Sleepy Hollow Reformed Church.157 “Jan Canckelie, j.m., and Weyntie Van Thexel, j.d. Both b. and l. in Philips Burgh”. Born on 12 Jun 1717 in Philipsburg, Westchester County, New York.552 Wyntie was baptized in Sleepy Hollow Reformed Church, on 18 Jul 1717.157 Wyntie, daughter of Cornelis & Wyntie, witnesses Joannis Van Texel [Cornelis’s brother] & wife Caharina.

Wellem Lent and Leya Kanckelei were witnesses at the 1743 baptism (before Wellem and Leya were married) of Sara, daughter of Harmanes Gardener & Antye Van Tessel.
On 15 Sep 1744 Lea married William Lent (52509) , son of Jan Lent (35750) (1686-) & Marytie De Ronde (43955) (say 1696-), in Sleepy Hollow Reformed Church.157 “Willim Lendt j.m., b. on the Mennaer of Cortlandt, and l. there, and Lea Canckelie, j.d., b. on the Mannaer of Cortlandt, and l. in Philips Burgh”.
