Born on 3 Sep 1707 in Claverack, Columbia Co., NY.392 Jacob Jacobse was baptized in Albany, NY, on 23 May 1708.392 Jacob, son of Jacob Jansen & Judith Van Husum, witnesses Jan Caspersen Halenbek, and Maria, wife of Jan Evertsen, recorded at Athens Zion Lutheran Church.

Jacob and Catharine were witnesses at the 1747 baptism of their neice Catharina, daughter of Francis & Marytje Herdyk.

Born on 18 Feb 1715 in Claverack, Columbia Co., NY.392 Hilletje was baptized in Klinkenberg, Columbia Co., on 27 Feb 1715.392 Hilletje, daughter of Jan Hardick, witnesses William Hardick & Volkje Hardick [brother and sister of Jan], recorded at Athens Zion Lutheran Church. Hilletje died on 24 Sep 1748; she was 33.392 Hilletje’s death is recorded on the baptismal record of her daughter Hilletje.

Michel Herder and Hilletje Hardik were witnesses several baptisms:
    1742 for their neice Margretje, daughter of Wendel & Gerritje Eswyn;
    1743 for Adam, son of Pieter Herder & Elisabeth Thomas; and
    1743 for Michel, son of Jacob Herder & Marytje Van Hoesen.

On 28 Jun 1740 when Hilletje was 25, she married Michael Harder, son of Johan Michael Harder (1 Jan 1673-ca 1716) & Maria Cecilia [Harder] (-aft 1734), in Athens Zion Lutheran Church.483 Michel Herder, son of Johannes, and Hilletje Herdyk, daughter of Jan. Born ca 1708 in Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany. Michael was baptized in Evangelisch Horn, Rheinland-Pfalz, on 9 Apr 1708.544 Michael died bet 14 Jan 1794 and 10 Oct 1795.

Michael first married Hilletje Hardick, second Lyntje Decker, and third Maria Rees.

Will abstract: Michael Herder of Claverack. Dated 15 Jan 1794, probated 10 Oct 1795. Mentions sons John, Michael, Benjamin, Peter, George, and daughters Lydia, Mary Geertruy, Hilleyte, Leyntye, and Sophia. The executors were sons John and Michael; the witnesses Bartholomue V. Valkenburgh & Jacob Hollenbeck. His mark.499
