On 26 Nov 1740 when Thomas was 49, he second married Eleanor Greene (21283) , daughter of Richard Greene (14756) (8 Feb 1660-24 May 1711) & Eleanor Sayles (8739) (ca 1671-11 Mar 1714). Born on 19 Feb 1702 in Warwick, RI. Eleanor died in East Greenwich, RI, on 19 Aug 1764; she was 62.

Thomas and Eleanor were second cousins. His maternal grandfather and her paternal grandfather were brothers.
