Pieter, his wife, and four chidren sailed from Amsterdam on the Beaver on 9 May 1661 and arrived at New Amsterdam on 29 Jul 1661.

Pieter married Elisabeth [Merselis]. Elisabeth died in Jul/Aug 1680 in Bergen, NJ. Buried on 1 Aug 1680 in Bergen Dutch Reformed Churchyard.
