On 20 Feb 1700/1 when Susanna was 28, she married Ephraim Lane (8044) , son of Andrew Lane (3002) (ca 1610-1 Mar 1675) & Triphena [Lane] (ca 1612-2 Jan 1706/7), in Hingham, MA.50 Born ca 1649 in Hingham, MA. Ephraim was baptized in Hingham, MA, in Feb 1649/50.50 Ephraim died on 1 Dec 1715 in Hingham, MA.50 Occupation: yeoman.

Ephraim was a member of Capt. Johnson’s comp. in Philip’s War. Constable 1696. Resided on the paternal homestead, North St., West Hing.50

13816. Jael Hewett. Born on 15 Mar 1673/4 in Hingham, MA.56,50 Jael died bef 1747 in Marshfield, MA.226

On 3 Dec 1697 when Jael was 23, she married Samuel Rogers (17687) , son of Timothy Rogers (6899) (28 Apr 1650-1728) & Eunice Stetson (8924) (18 Mar 1650-bef 1728), in Hingham, MA.50 Born ca 1670 in Scituate, MA. Samuel was baptized in the Second Church of Scituate, on 18 Sep 1670.73 Samuel died in 1747 in Marshfield, MA.226

Samuel’s will was dated 16 Jul 1747, probated 31 Oct 1747. It mentions children, Samuel, Ebenezer, Mary Truant, Elizabeth Turell, Jael Harney, Ruth Porter, Sarah Holmes, and Susanna Rogers. Vol. X, p. 518.226
