On 14 Sep 1696 when Elizabeth was 15, she first married Rev. Samuel Whiting, son of Rev. John Whiting (ca 1635-8 Sep 1689) & Sybil Collins (Nov 1637-3 Jun 1672), in Norwich, CT.164 Born on 22 Apr 1670 in Hartford, CT.164 Samuel died in Enfield, CT, on 27 Sep 1723; he was 53.164
Samuel received early education from his father. He studied for the ministry under Rev. James Fitch of Norwich. He was ordained 4 Dec 1700 , the first minister of Windham. In 1731 he published a Thanksgiving sermon. He died suddenly at the home of Rev. Nathaniel Collins, his cousin and brother-in-law. inscription on tombstone: “Here lies the body of the Rev Mr Samuel Whiting late successful minister of Windham who died Sept 27, 1725 in the 56 yar of his age.”164

On 22 Dec 1737 when Elizabeth was 56, she second married Rev. Samuel Niles, son of Capt. Nathaniel Niles (16 Aug 1642-22 Dec 1727) & Sarah Sands (15 Aug 1645-15 May 1726), in Braintree, MA. Born on 1 May 1674 in New Shoreham, RI.164 Samuel died in Braintree, MA, on 1 May 1762; he was 88.164

Abiel second married Rev. Isaac Chauncy, son of Rev. Israel Chauncy (ca 1644-14 Mar 1702/3) & Mary Nichols. Born on 5 Oct 1670 in Stratford, CT.20 Isaac died in Hadley, MA, on 2 May 1745; he was 74.20 Education: Harvard 1693.
Isaac first married Sarah Blackleash, second Sarah (Adams) Metcalf, widow of Joseph Metcalf.
Isaac was ordained at Hadley on 9 Sep 1696.
