Thomas was one of the patentees of New London, 14 Oct 1704, soon after settled in Groton on his large farm bordering the river. He was a shipwright and built a sloop called the Sea Flower.175
On 1 Jan 1694/5 when Thomas was 26, he married Mary Morgan, daughter of Capt. James Morgan (3 Mar 1643/4-8 Dec 1711) & Mary Vine (ca 1641-1689), in Groton, CT. Born on 20 Mar 1670 in New London, CT.36 Mary died in Stoninngton, CT, on 14 Sep 1765; she was 95.36

12280. Jonathan Starr. Born on 23 Feb 1674 in New London, CT.142 Jonathan was baptized on 22 Mar 1674.142 Jonathan died in Groton, CT, on 26 Aug 1747; he was 73. Buried in Starr Cemetery, Groton. Occupation: land trader.
Johnthan was elected constable at the first town meeting in Groton 1705; deputy to the General Court 1712-14, and member of the Governor’s Council 1711-14.175
On 12 Jan 1698 when Jonathan was 23, he married Elizabeth Morgan, daughter of Capt. James Morgan (3 Mar 1643/4-8 Dec 1711) & Mary Vine (ca 1641-1689), in New London, CT.142 Born on 9 Sep 1678 in Groton, CT.175 Elizabeth died in Norwich, CT, on 8 Sep 1763; she was 84.175
