John removed to Long Island in 1640 with Rev. Abraham Pierson, and some years later, came back, for the Lynn record has children of a John, by wife Elizabeth, viz., Edward, b. 5 Jul 1662; John, 9 Mar 1664; and Jacob, 22 Jul 1666.27
John married Elizabeth Knight, daughter of William Knight (ca 1600-5 Mar 1655/6) & Elizabeth [Ballard] (ca 1609-). Born ca 1644/5 in Lynn, MA.382
