On 5 Oct 1698 when Joseph was 23, he first married Anna Fitch, daughter of Rev. James Fitch (ca 1622-18 Nov 1702) & Priscilla Mason (Oct 1641-), in Lebanon, CT.36 Born on 6 Apr 1675 in Norwich, CT.36 Anna died in Lebanon, CT, on 7 Oct 1715; she was 40.36
