Domain and Web Hosting

The Math and Computer Science Department is pleased to announce the ability to host student and faculty personal domains free of charge.

Have yourname.com? .org or any other domain? Paying someone for web site/bandwidth? Now you can have our high-power web servers host it for you.

Register your domain (with any registrar, such as Network Solutions) - Estimated cost $25 - $35/year)
Point your domain to a free DNS hoster (such as ZoneEdit)
Setup up your zone file at the free DNS host and point yourname.com and www.yourdomain.com to point to 140.232.101.121
Contact Kitty Yap (kyap at clarku dot edu) with your CS Linux user name, class year, and domain name

You will receive an e-mail back with instructions on how to set up your web site on our servers. Your web site will not be included in your 50MB disk quota.
